How to delete your Zulope: Discover & BookSalons account and what happens to your data.
Account Deletion
1. How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Zulope: Discover & BookSalons app and go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
2. What Gets Removed Immediately
- Your profile will be removed from the platform and will no longer be visible to salons or other customers.
- Your booking history and saved salon preferences will no longer be accessible from the app.
- Any reviews or ratings you submitted may be anonymized or removed where required.
- Your login credentials will be deactivated — you will not be able to sign in.
3. Data Retained for 30 Days
- For security and compliance reasons, we retain a copy of your personal data for 30 days after deletion.
- This may include your name, phone number, booking history, and associated records.
- During this period, the data is not publicly accessible and is stored securely.
- This retention allows us to investigate fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
4. After 30 Days
- All retained personal data is permanently deleted from our servers.
- This action is irreversible — your data cannot be recovered after permanent deletion.
5. What Is Not Deleted
- Anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you may be retained for analytics and platform improvement.
- Reviews you submitted may remain visible in anonymized form to maintain platform transparency.
